Tracking nature’s worrying decline.

The 2023 State of Nature report went public on September 28, with its headline findings on how human actions are impacting on UK species and habitats running across all major news channels and stakeholder socials.

According to the 200-page report, the UK’s wildlife is continuing to decline, and like most other countries worldwide, has seen significant loss of its plants, animals and fungi. For us, it’s the culmination of over two months’ design and production work on a subject area that impacts all our lives in many ways.

Amongst the many outputs of the project were print and online versions of the main report, the summary report and four individual UK country-specific reports. And we had to factor in dual language versions – English and Welsh – for some of these publications too.

A truly extensive and intensive project that the agency’s dedicated ‘SoN’ team worked tirelessly on to hit publication deadlines and meet the vested interests of over 70 stakeholders.
